Officially opened in 1964, Natural History Museum features exhibits on the country's history, mineral wealth, and wildlife. You can find rock collections here, stuffed animals, plus live snakes. The museum also houses one of the largest mounted elephants in the world. In addition to the exhibit galleries, the venue boasts a 120-seat lecture hall, a cafe, and eight research departments. The museum is still in good condition and a wonderful place to takes the kids. Both my boys (2 & 7) thoroughly enjoyed it and asked to go back several times!

A great site to visit. With multi floored galleries covering a plethora of subjects. The life like collections are in perfect shape and are being maintained very well. We spend 3 hours in there and could have spent more time were it not for the fact that we were in transit. I loved seeing the Gabon viper and the mining section.
