  • The museum is in a nice building in a busy central area. There are no information for visitors at the desktop. The visitor should find its way alone.

  • Quite a thorough look into Zambia's political history, also some natural history about the country. Nice gift shop.

  • Great Museum if you want to get a good overview of Zambia and its recent history in 1 to 2 hours. The guides are most enthusiastic and good company through the journey of time. The ground floor has a Kenneth Kaunda exhibition, which gives a good overview of this iconic man's life and influence on Zambia
  • It is the first I visited a museum so educative. You can really learn about Zambian history from anthropology to political scene. Everything is explained so simply that there is no really need to have a guide. What also struck it is how the management made the museum accessible to kids. I observed many students coming over there to take some notes regarding the history. So if you are foreigner you will pay K85 and local K10 . Definitely worth a visit.
