The 6,715 hectare (16,600 acre) Lusaka National Park hosts rare and endangered animals. Walk with a tour guide to gain insight into their backgrounds and welfare. Thousands of species such as blue wildebeest, white rhino, and zebra, roam freely through a habitat comprised of forests, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Adventurous visitors can opt for extreme activities such as bungee jumping or abseiling. Or, if you'd rather be closer to the animals, have a guide take you on a lion walk or walk with cheetahs for a more personal safari experience. You can also boat along one of the rivers or go fishing. Using our online itinerary creator, Lusaka attractions like Lusaka National Park can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Beautiful park and amazing location. It once played host to two white rhinos. The most amazing place to visit in Lusaka.

  • The idea of being able to cycle in the park is great although it doesn’t make any sense the bikes cost twice compared to cars. The place reminds me of the story with the invisible clothes, let’s just call it invisible animals. Also it’s set in the middle of a huge industrial park and the greenery is really nothing to write home about.
  • Lots of tall grass ,trees and fresh air. Most animals not visible during this time of year, only saw a warthog and an antelope after a 2hr drive within the park. Friendly guide. Management please work on inner roads and include other activities that can attract tourists.
