Get in touch with nature at Nungwi Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond, kick back and relax at Kendwa Beach, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and explore the fascinating underground world of Tazari Caves.

Arusha to Nungwi is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus, ferry, and taxi; or do a combination of bus, train, ferry, and taxi. Traveling from Arusha in January, things will get somewhat warmer in Nungwi: highs are around 38°C and lows about 29°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) so you can drive to Zanzibar City.

Zanzibar City — 6 nights

Get in touch with nature at Prison Island - Changuu Private Island and Nakupenda Beach Nature Reserve. Venture out of the city with trips to Off-Road Tours (in Kiwengwa), Paje (Stand-Up Paddleboarding, Paje Beach, &more) and Jambiani (Kuza Cave & Jambiani Beach). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Cheetah's Rock, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral, stroll around Forodhani Gardens, and experience rural life at Shabuta Spice Farm.
