Sweeping beaches, towering hilltops, and picturesque vineyards adorn the landscape of Cape Town, dominated by the imposing Table Mountain.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Cape Town Holocaust & Genocide Centre, browse the eclectic array of goods at Greenmarket Square, then examine the collection at District Six Museum, and finally step off the mainland to explore Robben Island Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat): stop by Uwe Koetter Jewellers, then look for all kinds of wild species at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and then hike along Platteklip Gorge.

East London to Cape Town is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. In October, daily temperatures in Cape Town can reach 27°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat) early enough to fly to Durban.
