Bratislava, Slovakia to Victoria Falls is an approximately 17.5-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and car; or do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Bratislava to Victoria Falls, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. In July, Victoria Falls is a bit cooler than Bratislava - with highs of 28°C and lows of 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 24th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Hwange National Park.

Traveling by car from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In July in Hwange National Park, expect temperatures between 27°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Chobe National Park.

You can fly from Vilanculos to Tofo in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In July, daily temperatures in Tofo can reach 30°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Fri) so you can catch the flight to Maputo.

Start off your visit on the 1st (Sat): step off the mainland to explore Inhaca Island, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Paroquia Santo Antonio, then admire the striking features of Maputo Central Train Station, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with CCFM - Centro Cultural Franco-Mocambicano.

You can fly from Tofo to Maputo in 3 hours. Another option is to drive. July in Maputo sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 16°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Hazyview.
