23 days in Windhoek & Victoria Falls Itinerary

Take a break from Windhoek with a short trip to Gross Barmen Hot Springs in Gross Barmen, about 1h 15 min away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Christuskirche, see the interesting displays at National Museum of Namibia, get a taste of life in the country at Okapuka Ranch, and browse the eclectic array of goods at Namibia Craft Centre.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Windhoek is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. Traveling from Amsterdam in February, expect Windhoek to be much hotter, temps between 36°C and 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can fly to Victoria Falls.

On the 26th (Sun), spend a relaxing day on the river with a rafting and tubing tour. You can fly from Windhoek to Victoria Falls in 5.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Windhoek to Victoria Falls. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in February, and nighttime lows around 22°C. On the 4th (Sat), you're off to home.
