You can do a combination of car and ferry from Diani Beach to Watamu in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or do a combination of car, ferry, bus, and taxi. Traveling from Diani Beach in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Watamu, with lows of 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) to allow enough time to fly to Nairobi.

Traveling from Watamu in August, expect Nairobi to be little chillier, temps between 27°C and 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) to allow enough time to fly to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
