Nestled in the arid valley of Little Karoo, the town of Oudtshoorn remains the hub of everything ostrich-related, housing the world's largest population of the flightless birds.
On the 19th (Wed), view the masterpieces at Cape Palette Art Gallery, tour the pleasant surroundings at Cango Wildlife Ranch, and then explore the stunning scenery at Meiringspoort. On the 20th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the fascinating underground world of Cango Caves and then cruise along Swartberg Pass.

Spend the 31st (Mon) surrounded by wildlife at Game drives at Phalaborwa Gate in Kruger National Park. A gateway to the popular Kruger National Park, Hazyview boasts an enviable location in South Africa's lowveld, surrounded by a staggering number of both natural and historic sites.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Wed): stroll through Elephant Whispers and then kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu): stroll through Perry's Bridge Reptile Park and then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas.

Go for a jaunt from Johannesburg to Pretoria to see Voortrekker Monument about 46 minutes away. Spend the 6th (Sun) trying your luck at Gold Reef City.
