One of the world's largest nature and game reserves, the vast Namib-Naukluft Park boasts sweeping desert and mountain landscapes, a diverse range of animal life, and the surreal Sossusvlei, a scenic saltpan sprinkled with towering red sand dunes and petrified acacia trees.
Step out of Namib-Naukluft Park to go to Solitaire and see Tropic of Capricorn Sign, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. Next up on the itinerary: admire nature's extreme beauty at Big Daddy Dune, explore and take pictures at Kuiseb Pass, and take in breathtaking views at Sesriem Canyon.

Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.
Spend the 11th (Sun) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. The adventure continues: admire the striking features of Christuskirche, examine the collection at Trans-Namib Railroad Museum, sample the fine beverages at Naute Kristall Cellar and Destillery, and stroll through NamibRand Nature Reserve.
