Istanbul, Turkey to Harare is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Turkey Time (TRT) to Central Africa Time (CAT), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Istanbul in July, expect nights in Harare to be colder, around 8°C, while days are little chillier, around 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) early enough to fly to Bulawayo.

A vacation in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second-largest city, offers a pleasant base for wider explorations of some of the country's national parks and game reserves.

Explore Bulawayo's surroundings by going to Matobo National Park - The Matopos (Cecil Rhode's Burial Place & Matobo Hills). There's still lots to do: see exotic creatures in open habitats at African Wanderer Safaris, tour the pleasant surroundings at Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Research Centre, explore the striking landscape of Matobo National Park, and walk around The Hillside Dams Conservancy.

You can fly from Harare to Bulawayo in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, daytime highs in Bulawayo are 26°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Mon) early enough to drive to Hwange National Park.

Kick off your visit on the 19th (Tue): identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 20th (Wed): tour the pleasant surroundings at Painted Dog Conservation and then walk around Hwange National Park.

You can drive from Bulawayo to Hwange National Park in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train; or do a combination of bus and taxi. July in Hwange National Park sees daily highs of 27°C and lows of 9°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls, a Zimbabwean town near the eponymous waterfall, serves as one of two prime gateway points to the majestic cascade and its surrounding national park.

Spend the 22nd (Fri) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. And it doesn't end there: admire the sheer force of Mosi-oa-Tunya / Victoria Falls National Park, kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and see the world from above with a helicopter tour.

Traveling by car from Hwange National Park to Victoria Falls takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in July, and nighttime lows around 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly back home.
