Pretoria, South Africa — 6 nights

You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Apartheid Museum and Constitution Hill Human Rights Precinct. Get out of town with these interesting Pretoria side-trips: Hartbeespoort Dam - Snake and Animal Park (in Hartbeespoort), Johannesburg (Bag Factory Artist Studios, Johannesburg Zoo, &more) and Lion and Safari Park (in Broederstroom). There's still lots to do: pause for some photo ops at Voortrekker Monument, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at National Zoological Gardens of South Africa, stroll around Loftus Park, and browse the collection at National Library of South Africa.
