Swakopmund — 4 nights

Nestled on Namibia's Atlantic coast and surrounded by the sand dunes of the vast Namib Desert, the resort town of Swakopmund enchants visitors with its distinct German colonial architecture and pleasant climate.
German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Swakopmund Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore hidden gems such as Long Beach Leisure Park and Platz Am Meer. Step out of Swakopmund to go to Walvis Bay and see Flamingo lagoon, which is approximately 40 minutes away. It doesn't end there: tour the pleasant surroundings at Dune 7 and stop by Kristall Galerie.

One of the world's largest nature and game reserves, the vast Namib-Naukluft Park boasts sweeping desert and mountain landscapes, a diverse range of animal life, and the surreal Sossusvlei, a scenic saltpan sprinkled with towering red sand dunes and petrified acacia trees.
Take a break from the city and head to Kuiseb Pass and Gobabeb Desert Research Station. Step off the beaten path and head to Spreetshoogte Pass and Tropic of Capricorn Sign.

Tsumeb is a city of 15,000 inhabitants and the largest town in Oshikoto region in northern Namibia. On the 17th (Wed), brush up on your military savvy at Tsumeb Museum, then make a trip to Tsumeb Art and Craft Center, and then explore the activities along Otjikoto Lake. On the 18th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Hoba Meteorite and then get engrossed in the history at Alte Fort Museum.

Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.

Spend the 20th (Sat) spotting exotic species with a safari tour.
