Considered a gateway of the hartbees, a species of African antelope, the resort town of Hartbeespoort swarms with holiday homes around a popular arch-type dam.
Step off the beaten path and head to Croc City Crocodile and Reptile Park and Pretville. Step out of Hartbeespoort to go to Lanseria and see The Cradle Nature Reserve, which is approximately 32 minutes away.
