15 days in Johannesburg, Kruger National Park & Victoria Falls Itinerary

Change things up with a short trip to Lion and Safari Park in Broederstroom (about 1 hour away). Auckland, New Zealand to Johannesburg is an approximately 19-hour flight. You'll gain 10 hours traveling from Auckland to Johannesburg due to the time zone difference. You can fly from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park in 2.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. January in Kruger National Park sees daily highs of 34°C and lows of 20°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Fri) so you can go by car to Victoria Falls.
