Planned as the capital after Botswana gained independence in the 1960s, Gaborone quickly transformed into a bustling city and the country's commercial center.Step off the beaten path and head to Maroon Tours & Safaris and ISKCON Gaborone. Make the 24th (Thu) an awe-inspiring day at Khutse Game Reserve. And it doesn't end there: get great views at Kgale Hill, pause for some serene contemplation at Christ the King Cathedral, browse the different shops at Riverwalk Mall, and make a trip to Matsieng's Footprints.
