10 days in Namibia Itinerary

Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, hunt for treasures at Namibia Craft Centre, and then stop by The Diamond Works. Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Windhoek is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Amsterdam in March: high temperatures in Windhoek hover around 34°C and lows are around 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Etosha National Park.

On the 18th (Wed), make a trip to Okaukuejo waterhole.

Traveling by flight from Windhoek to Etosha National Park takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Wed) early enough to travel to Swakopmund.

Venture out of the city with trips to Walvis Bay (Kayaking & Canoeing, Walvis Bay Waterfront, &more). There's much more to do: take in the waterfront at Swakopmund Jetty, stroll through Welwitschia Plains, get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.

You can do a combination of flight and shuttle from Etosha National Park to Swakopmund in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle and flight; or take a shuttle. Expect a daytime high around 29°C in March, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sun) so you can travel to Luderitz.

Start off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): enjoy the sea views from Diaz Point, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Felsenkirche, and then steep yourself in history at Kolmanskop Ghost Town.

Do a combination of shuttle and flight from Swakopmund to Luderitz in 8 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In March, daytime highs in Luderitz are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
