A PLACE YOU MUST VISIT IN DAR ES SALAAM!! It's free to entry, even for foreigners, because there's no guy to charge your entrance fee. It's worthwhile to visit if you're a tourist, in here you can know traditional Tanzanian life & houses without going to countryside. And you can also watch some local people dancing and singing sometimes. They're really warm and they'll invite you to dance & take photos with them. Don't be hesitate to join them. I'm sure it will be a part of unforgettable memories during your Tanzania's trip.

Excellent museum of the various housing designs in the African village. Also has great array of various trees and plants with descriptions of their purposes. The live show towards the back was very entertaining and the is a local artist Brana Mayige with very unique pieces. Brake Point restaurant is right next door on the same grounds. Definitely a must visit while in Makumbusho.
