See the skull of a 1.75-million-year-old Nutcracker Man and many artifacts used by his more recent descendants at National Museum, the oldest of the five National Museum of Tanzania branches. Established in 1934, the museum displays traditional crafts like headdresses and musical instruments. Check out a wooden bicycle, traditional clothing items, and hunting-and-gathering gear, as well as traditional medical tools. A memorial commemorates the death of those who perished in the 1998 terrorist attacks in the garden. The museum is also home to a vintage collection and a gallery of contemporary arts. • Well... some nice articles and photos but sad to say. Not in a good condition.... not really worth to visit at this stage...needs improvement. Good is, it is entrance free!! But better go to a market to discover Tanzanian life!
  • It was good trip pupils they get good experience and they learn a lot about their country history and ancestors history and civilization.... Promise to come back again. 🙏🙏
