Birds of Eden, a spacious, 2 hectare (5.5 acre) domed aviary, shelters over 200 species of rescued and abandoned birds. Built in 2005, the dome covers a lush, indigenous forest setting, complete with a natural waterfall. Roaming the walkways, you can encounter thousands of exotic birds, but remember that the verdant scenery hides a variety of other animals as well--monkeys, bats, and antelopes among them. What an incredible experience! The well constructed wooden walkway takes one down to almost root level of incredibly tall trees before going back up again to a plateau almost at the level of the tree tops and the ceiling of the dome. Simply amazing! Wheelchair friendly too! Well worth the visit.

I am actually not a big fan of birds, but this place is well done. Beautiful jungle landscape with rivers, waterfalls, lakes, flowers, bridges and walkways under an enormous tent. Pretty birds. Much more natural than just a few birds in a Zoo. Really well worth coming here.
