Table Mountain National Park, previously known as the Cape Peninsula National Park, is a national park in Cape Town, South Africa, proclaimed on 29 May 1998, for the purpose of protecting the natural environment of the Table Mountain Chain, and in particular the rare fynbos vegetation. The park is managed by South African National Parks. The property is included as part of the UNESCO Cape Floral Region World Heritage Site.

The park contains two well-known landmarks: Table Mountain, for which the park is named; and the Cape of Good Hope, the most southwestern extremity of Africa.

  • Great experience to have made it to the top of Table Mountain after hiking up. Was worth all the sweat, luckily no tears. Nice weather and good energy that it gives to be so high on the mountain. Nice to do it alone or with a group. Pack in some water and fruits as you will definitely need the boost. To anyone looking to go, start packing and head om over already.
  • We hiked to the top of the mountain. Cable cars are available to those who are not so keen on hiking. Very difficult hike, not recommended for beginner but definitely worth it. The view from up there is just so amazing and spectacular. Loved it
