From the top of the cableway, it is an easy walk along the top to McLears beacon which is easily seen. Trainers or waling shoes pretty essential, don’t try it in flip flops!. Well worth the extra...

Great hike from the aerial tram exit. Plan for an hour each way. Rocky sections can be a bit hard on the knees Small section with chain support!

Started from Platteklip Gorge starting point and made my way up to the very highest point of Table Mountain. From the top of Platteklip Gorge to Maclears Beacon is a flat comfortable hike suitable for all ages. Take in the beauty that is Table Mountain.
