  • Very informative site. Learned a great deal about the Soweto Uprising. Would recommend this museum for anyone visiting Soweto.

  • As a South African, I brought my partner from New Zealand to Soweto on his very first trip to South Africa this August. Outside of the Hector Pieterson Memorial we stumbled across a volunteer/guide...

  • Perfect place next to it's a beautiful coffee shop.
  • This museum is just remarkable! Even Daniel Harlov thought it was a Berlin museum in the center of Soweto. There is a lot to see and learn about the Apartheid struggle of South Africa. Many videos and pictures to see. But too much to absorb on one day or one visit. I've been there three times and but feel there is still a lot to see. The downside is that no picture taking is allowed inside the museum :(
