Drove all the way there from Tzaneen to find the place permanently CLOSED. What a bummer. No reasons for it being closed, not even the security guard knew what going on.

Very friendly Staff. Informative movie about the making process and how Amarula use local people to collect the fruit for them. Coffee shop do have really interesting and out of the ordinary dishes.... more

The place offers great insight on how Amarula is made. A short video presentation of about 5-10 min long will be played which details the whole process of manufacturing Amarula. It is a great stop to Kruger National Park, my guests really enjoyed it.

Loved learning about the history of the drink, especially the involvement of the community. The factory is only open from January to March. I was a bit disappointed that Amarula is not cheaper here. It turned out that their prices are actually a little more above the liquor store prices. The place is very well maintained and clean. The food's great. All in all, I enjoyed the experience.
