Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Boasting a scenic setting on the slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden remains one of the most popular Cape Town attractions, drawing visitors with its staggering diversity of indigenous and exotic plants. Founded in 1913 and now part of a World Heritage Site, the garden offers a look into five different biomes of South Africa, spread across its conservatory and picturesque exterior landscape. Don't miss the stone sculptures from Zimbabwe, and consider setting off on one of the trails leading to the top of Table Mountain. Majestic parks to walk around and explore all the walk ways. We found it very peaceful and relaxing. The bridge is beautifully crafted and looks out over the gardens.

Well , i visited Kirstenbosch in 2017 October. This is a great place to be. It is on the outskirts of Table Mountain. You should better reach there by car , you don’t need to wear anything special...

One of the most beautiful gardens I have been to. 1. Easy access to the park. 2. If you're a SA citizen make sure you carry your ID for local rates 3. So many fun trails to walk through 4. The pathways are easily labeled so it keeps you on track 5. There are a variety of places to find your ideal meal. The restaurant/ tea garden or Vida 6. The gift store is beautifully laid out and the prices are reasonable 7. It has some of the most beautiful views I have seen.

Unique experience, definitely bigger than I thought it was. You can easily spent up to two hours here if you'd like (maybe even more). Lots of benches and grass, you can picnic here if you like. Do keep in mind that there are no rubbish bins in the park. The park has sooo many botanical species. Of course the best time to visit would be during blossoming season. The view of the mountains in the background makes it a beautiful park, not to be missed if you're spending days in Cape Town
