This is our 3rd visit to Hermanus, and part of the draw is this wonderful path….. always something to watch, and lots of well placed benches to take in the views and sounds. A very special place.

Excellent path with incredible views. We were there in mid-July and weren’t lucky enough to spot any whales, but the walk is easily worth it for the scenery. (I actually spotted both dolphins and a whale in the video I took once I got home!) Guards help maintain a sense of security. We enjoyed parking at the far end in the west end of town and walking back as it was much less crowded. Parking there was free.

The cliff pathway which stretches for kilometers along Hermanus's cliffs are absolutely awesome. During stormy weather it's liberating watching the waves crash against the cliffs and on a clear day, the views are food for the soul.
