Admire the dramatic scene and relaxing setting of Lisbon Falls, the tallest waterfall in the province. The water comes gushing down a 94 m (308 ft) high cliff face into a pool at the bottom, so make sure you bring your camera to catch this arresting natural sight. With the surrounding area rich in waterfalls and wildlife, visits here usually happen as part of an adventurous itinerary taking in several natural landmarks. If you have some time, linger a bit over a picnic in the peaceful, shaded area at the foot of the falls. Keep your eyes peeled for resident birdlife, including small, colorful sunbirds. • The views of the ravine and mountains in the backdrop were breathtaking. The area was clean and felt safe. The waterfall and its surroundings really create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Truly one of nature’s best works of art. I’d definitely recommend coming here for a date or a picnic just admiring the view.
  • Lovely falls, but it was a great disappointment that it was no longer allowed to walk down and swim in the pools. There was no announcement to that effect on any of the local tourism sites.
