White Shark Projects, Gansbaai

I’ve been very fortunate to see the Great White Sharks and Bronze Whaler Sharks during my time with White Shark Projects. The Great White Sharks have not been seen for quite a while and it was amazing to see them returning to the water! The largest Great White Shark we saw was a 3.8m female! The team is professional and passionate about the sharks and are more than happy to share their knowledge. Diving masks, wetsuits and weight belts are provided so you don’t have to worry about preparing for the trip. Just bring your swimming suit and an adventurous spirit! Hot showers and a hot meal also await you after the trip. You never know when the sharks might disappear so I highly recommend you to come visit while you still can!

I had amazing experiences both times that I cage dived with this stellar organization. My first time with them was 13 years ago with my mother and they invited me in June of 2022 to celebrate my first publication: "Jasmine Breeze." The entire staff is accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. This organization sincerely cares about the environment. They enable a smooth, safe and stunning experience cage diving with sharks and other sea animals for all types of divers. I highly recommend this excellent company for anyone ready for adventure and learning about how to care for our planet.
