The museum is open week days and Saturdays. There are other galleries within the museum besides the display of the coelacanth. • It’s an interesting collection of bits and bobs covering loads of different themes in lesser or greater detail. It jumps around a lot and some of the exhibits are very dated. Saying that it is well...

  • Plenty parking close to entrance. Passageways and display halls are large and spacious. The history of the city and the region is well covered by interesting displays.

  • I went for nostalgia. It was a very pleasant visit. The place seems to be well maintained. The only issue I had was that the place seems a bit dull now. Maybe it's because I haven't been there for years... Overall It was a nice outing for my little one. He enjoyed seeing all these new but old items and experiencing the museum for the first time with him was a memory I'll cherish. It's a lovely little outing for the little ones.
  • It was a magic day today for the wonderful museum as a brand new exabion was open today on the Cape parrot s.. Very interesting to see well worth a visit to see.😃😃
