  • A nice and well maintained aquarium. There is a good collection of different varieties of jelly fish. There is also a section of penguins. It is located near the V & A waterfront.

  • Great experience for the whole family. Gift shop is pricey but expected at aquariums. The walk around the aquarium was a little shorter than expected though but the kids still enjoyed it. We went on a Monday after Christmas so it was extremely busy and was still pretty efficient in moving the large crowds through the exhibits. Animals on display were all in very good condition even considering some of them are rescue animals which is a great thing to see.
  • This is an excellent aquarium. I loved the variety of the displays, from the corals to the jellyfish to the penguin area and the shark tank. My mind was blown when I rounded a corner and saw the HUGE tank wall in the sitting area. I had never seen such a huge aquarium window before. I loved sitting and just feeling lost in the underwater world. The walking tubes through the tanks were equally enjoyable. There is a lot of appreciate about this aquarium, and it is one of the best I have ever visited. And a nice bonus is the seals that lounge outside on the harbor with the majestic view of Table Mountain in the background.
