Two Oceans Aquarium
Discover a diverse marine on a tour of Two Oceans Aquarium, featuring exhibits from both the Atlantic and Indian oceans. Opened in 1995, the aquarium shelters a variety of underwater animals and plants, spread across seven spacious galleries. Wandering the aquarium chambers, you'll encounter ocean and freshwater fish, along with colonies of penguins and cape fur seals. Admire sea turtles, jellyfish, and sharks, view swarms of fish meandering through the kelp forest, or head to the touch pool to get up close to the starfish and hermit crabs. Fantastic aquarium. I saw some creatures that I never knew existed. Beautiful creation of Almighty Allah. Sharks steal the show. The overhead glass spans the entire place Beautiful 😍 where the sharks are placed. Located at a very convenient place. Friendly staff, welcoming team were very amiable and helpful. Affordable entry fees. Tops... everyone should be interested in visiting such a place. Children get to learn so many new things. Fun and enjoyable. Good time spent here. Would 100% recommend 👌 everyone to at least visit this aquarium in their lifetime.

It is the only option in Cape Town so it is lovely to visit if you enjoy ocean life. The exhibits seem to be well maintained and there is plenty of educational information available to learn more. It is particularly popular with parents of small children and it is very disability friendly with ramps and wide doorways. The only area not set up for wheelchairs etc is the penguin exhibit but if you take the ramp down to the crafts area, you could watch the penguins swimming in the tank there. Remember that if you visit on within a week of your birthday, you can access the Aquarium for free. Just take your SA ID book along and request your birthday ticket.
