Browse the stalls for Namibian handicrafts at Namibia Craft Centre. Around 38 vendors sell items from rural communities, ethnic groups, and humanitarian projects all across Namibia. Choose among gifts and souvenirs ranging from jewelry to carved tree roots. The center supports Namibian small enterprises in their fight against poverty, and utilization of Namibian natural resources through eco-friendly products and sustainable production. To that end, only 10 percent of goods sold here can be from other countries, and all goods must come from the African continent. Sample fresh Namibian food, plus reputedly the best cheesecake and apple crumble in the city. Plan your Namibia Craft Centre visit and explore what else you can see and do in Windhoek using our Windhoek trip itinerary maker tool.

  • There is a wide variety of arts and crafts here, many at reasonable prices. We found some beautiful bowls and a fabulous Batik wall-hanging...we went twice and spent more than an hour browsing each...

  • Wanted to pick up a few local souvenirs on the last day of our Namibia trip. All the shops sell interesting stuff and after having been around the country all the products were well finished, good...

  • It's a collection of various nice shops. We found some good souvenirs. Safe parking as well and liked the apple pie in the café on the first floor.
  • This a great tourist shop for all kinds of souvenirs. The prices are set and reasonable so no need to haggle. Definitely stop by MorrisBaba outside the centre with all of his handmade recycled metal and beaded animal sculptures.
