Create an itinerary including Tamarind Falls
A series of seven waterfalls, each pouring into the next fall below, Tamarind Falls reward a challenging trek with abundant natural beauty. It's best to hire a guide to lead you to the falls; the hike can be quite difficult, with near vertical climbs, and a guide will know the best and safest way to get you there. Likewise, he or she can tell you about what you're seeing and the landscape you're exploring. The trek to the falls leads through forest and lush vegetation, around ponds, and across wide-open expanses. The diversity of this area and the exotic plant and animal life make the trip particularly special. Adventurers can walk right alongside the falls, and even jump from the top of a small fall into the pool below. Make sure to wear proper shoes for hiking. • We had a wonderful time at the waterfalls led by our guide Francois. We recommend a guide for this as it supports local income most importantly and secondly it is a great experience to be with...

  • Its a gud fun, and some burned calories. To get there is about 20 mins ish walk from closest road and very steep walk dawn through forrest. Must wear good trainers. Beware "turist guides" locals that offering take you waterfall. They say its dangerous to go without quide. Well we survived without one ;) from 2nd waterfall top, you can walk further down to the bottom of it and then further down see more waterfalls on same river. . For us took about 1hr and 20mins return walk to parked car including taking pictures at the waterfall.
  • Amazing view to the nature, possible to swim under waterfall. Be sure to have a proper shoes (no flipflops) and lot of water if you plan to make a whole tour. No need to have a local guide (locals say it is needed and it is dangerous without them which is not true).
