Create an itinerary including Lake Nakuru
A national park flourishing with life, Lake Nakuru provides a haven for birds and bird-lovers from across the globe. Discover the diverse beauty scattered around on the Rift Valley's great soda lake, with waterfalls, caves, and forest all providing pockets of varying wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, Rothschild giraffes, and endangered black rhinos. Despite rising water levels leading to a depleting flamingo population, the park still provides ample bird-watching, thanks to its position on the African-Eurasian migratory flyway. Pack a picnic and enter through one of the park's three gates, touring each of the safari viewpoints for some spectacular photographs. • Not many animals here when we visited. Just flamingoes, pelicans, one rhino, monkeys, various antelopes and zebras. Lots of other birds though...loved the eagle. That was cool.

  • This lake is full of wildlife from birds and also an array of other animals including the white Rhino which we were fortunate to see albeit from a bit of a distance. Certainly a unique place

  • Was very nice. We saw a lot of wildlife roaming around (including a lion). We went with a rented vehicle and a driver, what was a good choice. Unfortunately restaurant Sarova could not offer us any meal (it was around 4 pm) what was a bit disappointing. Other than that, highly recommend!
  • We real had great time at this camp, well located in the middle of Lake Nakuru National Park
