Beautiful beach that stretches for miles. Depending on the tide it can be quite a walk to the sea. Be aware of the warning flags. The sea can be rough but nearer to Santa Maria its often a green flag.... more

This is the best beach in the island of Sal: clear water, white sand. As you walk away from the pier towards Ponta Sino, it gets quieter and quieter. But if it's windy, waves also get bigger and stronger. Watch out for underwater currents close to Ponta Sino.
