Admire diverse indigenous wildlife and see some endangered species at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, a private game reserve near Gaborone. Founded in 1994 by a non-profit foundation, the reserve covers 30 sq km (11. 5 sq mi) of donated land, providing shelter to southern white rhinos, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, reedbucks, giraffes, and zebras. The park's network of paths make it possible for a close encounter with any of these majestic animals. Keep your eyes peeled to see elephants, red hartebeests, sables, gemsboks, kudus, impalas, leopards, and waterbucks as you explore the park on foot. You can also cycle or take a night ride for a different perspective on the local nature. • Its beautiful, you can still see some animals next to the restaurant ie zebras and warthogs without going on a safari. There's a watering hole just in front of the restaurant where i found 2 zebras and a couple of warthogs . The background jazz music gets you in a chilled relaxed mood.
  • The setting is beautiful and scenic and the cuisine simple, authentic and divine. The serving area has been expanded to accommodate a greater number of people. The air and atmosphere is vibrant and the personal touch from the owners and the well-trained waiters refreshing. The lighting and creative decor add a fantastical twist to dining under in "African bush" under the stars. Great place for family outings. Highly recommended!
