The same experience as many here below: we saw the dam for the very bad road (you almost need 4wd!) that goes to an entrance gate where the (friendly) guy asks for a permit and can't explain how to...

The people at the gate wanted P100, unofficially ! so I didnt go in ! ! How much are they managing to rip off from tourists ? The gate-keepers have found a gold-mine.
