As Malawi's second-largest city, Blantyre represents the country's main commercial and industrial hub and boasts a dynamic array of food options.
Escape the urban bustle at Lake Chilwa and Mount Mulanje. Get a sense of the local culture at St.Michael's and All Angels Church and La Caverna Art Gallery. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Blantyre: Majete Wildlife Reserve (in Chikwawa) and King African Rifles Monument (in Zomba).
