Get in touch with nature at Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary and Garden Route National Park. Relax by the water at Buffalo Bay and Wilderness Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Knysna side-trips: Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary (in The Crags) and Shark Diving (in Mossel Bay). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Brenton on Sea, trek along Kranshoek Hiking Trail, stroll through Pledge Nature Reserve, and contemplate the waterfront views at Knysna Lagoon.

Renowned as a premier whale-watching destination, Hermanus grew from a quaint fishing village nestled on Walker Bay.
Take a break from the city and head to Shark Diving and Stony Point Penguin Colony. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Voelklip Beach and Grotto Beach. Step out of Hermanus to go to Arniston and see Waenhuiskrans Caves, which is approximately 1h 30 min away.
