Nestled in the arid valley of Little Karoo, the town of Oudtshoorn remains the hub of everything ostrich-related, housing the world's largest population of the flightless birds.

Hermanus

Renowned as a premier whale-watching destination, Hermanus grew from a quaint fishing village nestled on Walker Bay.
Explore hidden gems such as Panthera Africa - Big Cat Sanctuary and Voelklip Beach. Go for a jaunt from Hermanus to Betty's Bay to see Stony Point Penguin Colony about 50 minutes away.
