Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.
On the 7th (Sun), browse the eclectic array of goods at Namibia Craft Centre, admire the landmark architecture of Christuskirche, see the interesting displays at Trans-Namib Railroad Museum, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Daan Viljoen Nature Reserve, and finally stroll through NamibRand Nature Reserve. On the next day, take an exotic tour of a safari tour.

Dusseldorf, Germany to Windhoek is an approximately 15-hour combination of train and flight. You can also fly. Traveling from Dusseldorf in February, expect Windhoek to be much hotter, temps between 36°C and 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Mon) early enough to travel to Etosha National Park.

Do a combination of car and flight from Otjiwarongo to Namib-Naukluft Park in 6.5 hours. While traveling from Otjiwarongo, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Namib-Naukluft Park, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Fri) early enough to travel to Swakopmund.

Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, examine the collection at Swakopmund Museum, then stop by Die Muschel, and finally stroll through Welwitschia Plains.
