Sweeping beaches, towering hilltops, and picturesque vineyards adorn the landscape of Cape Town, dominated by the imposing Table Mountain.
Kids will enjoy Cape Point and Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, stroll through Clifton Beaches, identify plant and animal life at Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Two Oceans Aquarium.

Springbok is the largest town in the Namaqualand area in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Wed): tour the pleasant surroundings at Goegap Nature Reserve.

You can drive from Cape Town to Springbok in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June, daily temperatures in Springbok can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. You will leave for Windhoek on the 2nd (Thu).

Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.
Start off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Namibia Craft Centre, and then explore the galleries of Trans-Namib Railroad Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 4th (Sat): stroll through NamibRand Nature Reserve, explore the galleries of National Museum of Namibia, then admire the landmark architecture of Christuskirche, and finally walk around Zoo Park.
