    This is the place to be on earth. The house is located 25 min from Johannesburg and it’s worth the drive if you go there. The guides are very well informed about the history and everything is pretty.....  more »

    An historic, thought provoking visit. The house was very small and extremely busy/touristy, however a must see as it is packed with history, stories and memorabilia. I had also done Constitution Hill....  more »

    One of the first heritage sights I've visited in South Africa and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The house has been well preserved to blend just the right amount of Mandela's history as well as his legacy. Entry is cheap, you also get a free tour as well as being allowed to take an unlimited amount of pictures anywhere in the premises. The are a lot more things to be said about Mandela's house but I suggest you go out and experience it yourself

    The place is beautiful. A lot of tourist activity. On the day we went the ATM slot was not working so we were unable to go in. One thing I disliked was a local photographer who was literally forcing people to take pictures and people have their own cameras.
