The neo-classical buildings were built using local sandstonemore than a century ago, and the iconic twin towers are said to represent the Afrikaans and English languages. You won't be able to tour the buildings themselves, but you can stroll through the terraced gardens surrounding them for views of the city below. • This was something I've wanted to see for a very long time! What beautiful architecture! Highly recommend that anyone go for a walk around these beautiful grounds.
  • The Union Building is the official president's office in the administrative capital of South Africa which is Pretoria. As you would know South Africa has a total of 3 capital cities which are Bloemfontein(Judicial), Cape Town (Legislative) and Pretoria (Administrative). The Union Buildings are a great picnic spot for a few hours. There is a beautiful view of the city. Be wary that there are no public toilets for public use.
