Kgale Hill, Gaborone

#9 of 31 in Things to do in Gaborone
Outdoor Activity
Hike up 1,287 m (4,222 ft) and bask in the panoramic views from the top of Kgale Hill. Nicknamed "The Sleeping Giant," the hill's summit can be reached by any of three routes: Rusty's Route, which gets quite steep in places; an hour-long walk along Transfeldt Trail, or; the rolling saddle of Cross Kopje. Notice the baboons on your journey, but don't get too close, as the playful primates have been known to cause problems for tourists.
